Since 2014, Competency Test (UKOM) midwife implemented as an effort to improve and equalize the quality of graduates of midwives, especially for the Diploma in Midwifery. As we know that, for participants who pass the competency exam will be given a Certificate of Competency that will be used as one of the requirements to obtain the Certificate Register (STR).
To prepare for the competency test, Prodi DIII Midwifery University Alma Ata conduct debriefing and assistance for participants Ukom. At the debriefing Ukom, students are given the materials tested on Ukom consisting of nine competence. Nine of these courses are pregnancy, childbirth and newborns, postpartum and breastfeeding, neonatal, infant and pre-school children, reproductive health, maternal and neonatal emergencies, obstetrics and etikolegal community.
