Alma Ata University Yogyakarta placed second in the Doughnut (Debate on Food and Nutrition) Competition at the Nutrition Fair IPB 2023

At the Nutrition Fair IPB 2023, the undergraduate nutrition major from Alma Ata University Yogyakarta placed second in the doughnut (debate on food and nutrition) competition. In 2023, HIMAGIZI FEMA IPB is organizing the Doughnut competition, a national debating tournament. The discussion, which was held at the IPB Convention Center’s ICC, was centered on the topic of “Government Policies in Addressing Food and Nutrition Issues in Indonesia.”

Alma Ata University Yogyakarta delegates a debate team with three members to the Doughnut (Debate on Food and Nutrition) tournament at IPB on June 22–24, 2023. Muhammad Maulana Ardhan, Danu Amar, and Salsabila, three undergraduate nutrition students in their fourth semester, made up the team, along with Ms. Yulinda Kurniasari, S.Gz., MPH, a faculty member in the nutrition program who also accompanied them to the offline debate at ICC Bogor.

 The Alma Ata University Yogyakarta undergraduate nutrition students participated against UGM in the final round of the Doughnut (Debate on Food and Nutrition) tournament at IPB on Friday, June 23, 2023. The Alma Ata University Yogyakarta team performed admirably in this prestigious competition, placing them in second place and earning them a certificate and gifts from the competition’s organizers. The team deserves praise for their outstanding accomplishment!
