Alma Ata University has just signed an extension of Partnership and Cooperation with Johns Hopkins University (JHU) after previously tied to each other in a very strong collaboration since 2014. This collaboration is a collaboration that leads to the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by utilizing the supporting capacity of each university. JHU which is one of the best universities in the field of health not only in America but also in the world has committed to work hand in hand with Alma Ata University both in collaborative curriculum development, student and lecturer exchanges.
The collaboration, which was signed at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, is a collaboration and will also continue several research centers jointly owned by Alma Ata University and Johns Hopkins University. Presented by the President of Alma Ata University, Prof. Dr. Hamam Hadi, MS., Sc.D., Sp.GK., that students and lecturers of Alma Ata posses the opportunity to be able to learn abroad through several schemes that were jointly conceived. Exchange activities are expected by the chancellor to be realized soon in the near future.
One of the activities that will soon be carried out is to bring in a Professor from John Hopkins University in September to visit Alma Ata and to write a joint script with Alma Ata University for later to be published in international journals. Previously, Professor from Alma Ata had already visited Baltimore to explore the development of cooperation.
