Since 2014, there has been a firm foundation for the partnership between Alma Ata University and Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Utilizing the unique characteristics of each university, this partnership will implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. JHU is dedicated to cooperating with Alma Ata University in a number of areas, including curriculum development and student and faculty exchanges. JHU is recognized as one of the best universities in the health field, not only in the United States but also internationally.
The agreement, which was signed at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, also aims to maintain a number of joint research facilities run by Alma Ata University and Johns Hopkins University. Alma Ata University students and faculty members will have good opportunity to participate in a variety of collaborative efforts, according to Prof. Dr. Hamam Hadi, MS, Sc.D., Sp.GK, the university’s rector. It is anticipated that the exchange activities would soon be put into action.
A professor from Johns Hopkins University will visit Alma Ata in September as part of one of the upcoming events. The Professor will work with Alma Ata University to co-author an article that will be included in an international journal during this visit. Professors from Alma Ata had previously traveled to Baltimore to look into the possibility of working together before this.
