AAU Yogyakarta KKNT Students Protected by Employment BPJS

Yogya – Alma Ata University A total of 600 students are participating in the KKN program. The KKN participants come from four different faculties and are prepared to be deployed throughout the Central Java Province, covering its four districst, six subdistricts, and 52 villages. The BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program will provide social security to all of these KKN participants, who will all be covered by it throughout the program.The rector of Alma Ata University, Prof. D. H. Hamam Hadi, MS, Sc.D, Sp.Gk, and the Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of Bantul Regency, Mabrur Ari Wuryanto, SP, MM, were present for the significant occasion of handling over the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan cards on July 31, 2023.

Two programs, Jaminan Kematian (JKM) and Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK), will protect every student involved in this KKNT. In order to safeguard them from any risks and to give students comfort during their KKN activities, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan will provide coverage for the students. According to Mabrur Ari Wuryanto, SP., MM, Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Bantul Regency, the price is equally reasonable at Rp 16,800 per individual for the period of their KKNT.

Additionally, the Director of Community Service and KKN, Dr. Muhammad Abdurrahman Munir, M.Sc., indicated that this year’s KKNT is thematic and carries forth the theme from the prior time, which is “Enhancing Local Potential in Efforts to Reduce Stunting Rates. From August 1 through September 30,2023, the students will conduct KKN activities both locally and online.

According to Muhammad Abdurrahman Munir, the organizer of KKNT, “the participants will participate in various community service programs to help address various challenges faced by the community, especially in Central Java, which is the main location for KKN this year.

The students are also encouraged to participate in volunteer work to aid the government in eradicating poverty, fostering independence, boosting sustainable community welfare, and most importantly decreasing stunting rates in Central Java.

Through the KKN program, Alma Ata University sends at least 800 students to serve in various parts of the nation each year. For students, participating in the KKN program is now required. The KKN program is offered by UAA twice a year, during the months of August and September and Period 1 in February and March.

According to Mabrur Ari Wuryanto, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan recently launched the campaign “Kerja Keras, Bebas Cemas, Masuk Desa”, which aims to entice all informal workers, particularly those who are a part of the village ecosystem, to enroll in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program.
