Alma Ata University’s leadership, led directly by the Rector, participated in benchmarking visits to Petra Christian University as well as Malang Islamic University in an effort to hasten Alma Ata University’s progress toward achieving excellent accreditation and becoming a renowned World Class University. Alma Ata University, founded in 2015, has just been around for eight years; in contrast, Petra Christian University, founded in 1961, has great seniority and has already attained remarkable institutional accreditation.
The Alma Ata University team, which was made up of 30 people and included the rector, vice rector, deans, and directors from several departments, excitedly welcomed the benchmarking visits.
The Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans, Directors, and leaders of various departments of Petra Christian University personally welcomed the delegation from Alma Ata University upon their arrival. The staff at Petra Christian University welcomed Alma Ata University’s delegation with open arms, and the entire visit went off without a hitch. At Petra Christian University, the program began with a welcome speech by both rectors. This was followed by lively talks, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and an in-depth tour of the “D-Campus.” The event ended with a joyful exchange of mementos between the two academic institutions, cementing their comradery and commitment to future partnerships.
