History of the Establishment of Alma Ata

Alma Ata was born in response to Muslim scholars and scholars in the Ali Masduki foundation Islamic boarding school and the Ali Maksum foundation for the development of the times, trends in changing civilizations, patterns of life and human behavior today and are part of a reflection of religious moral responsibility to prove that “Islam it is always suitable anytime and anywhere “that” Islamic sholichun fi kulli era wa makan “(Strategic Plan for Higher Education Alma Ata, 2009-2013).

Initially the Alma Ata College under the Alma Ata Foundation in the form of STIKES and STIA Alma Ata. STIKES Alma Ata was held since 2006 on the basis of the Decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No: 108 / D / O / 2006, and supplemented by the Recommendation of the Governor of DIY No. 421.4 / 2408, Recommendation to the Head of the Indonesian Ministry of Health and Human Resources Development Agency No. HK.03.2.4.1.02458 (for the Midwifery D3 Study Program) and No. HK.03.2.4.1.02459 (for the S1 Nursing Study Program). Whereas STIA Alma Ata was held in 2007 based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. RI. Dj.I / 220.D / 2007 concerning the Establishment of the Tarbiyah College of Sciences and the Islamic High School Alma Ata Yogyakarta.

Along with the time and needs of the community, in 2015 Alma Ata College officially became a University with the name of University Alma Ata with the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education RI No.155 / KPT / I / 2016 valid December 21, 2015.
