To enhance the quantity and most importantly the quality of Research and Community Service, Alma Ata University held a Workshop on Research and Community Service Proposal Writing

Alma Ata University (AAU) held a workshop on research and community service proposals writing by presenting Prof. Dr. Abdul Rohman, M.Sc., Apt and Mirwan Ushada S.TP., M.App., Sc., Ph.D. from UGM on June 20, 2019 in the KH. Mas’ud Masduqi, Universitas Alma Ata, Yogyakata. To be able to continue to compete with other countries in order to lead a dignified nation, Indonesia must encourage various aspects to become a more respected country.

One of them important aspect to be developed is the number of studies that can be recognized by the international community. Abundant natural wealth such as mineral and biological wealth and rich human resource assets should be utilized as well as possible for the benefit of the citizen. Embodied in the university’s vision, one direction of the university’s goal is to be able to contribute to the development of world civilization.

The Rector of the Alma Ata University, Prof. Dr. Hamam Hadi Ms. ScD Sp.GK., invited all lecturers in the University to optimize all the possessed potential in particular ways to increase the quantity and quality of research and community service synergistically. Furthermore, Prof. Hamam said, “In its very early stage and a very young age, Alma Ata University has become one of the universities which won the most research grants from LLDIKTI in Region V. This should not make us complacent, it should challenge us to be able to do more for Indonesia and the world instead.”

Concluded from the workshop, the most important thing from a research and community service development is to grow the spirit to perceive research and community service activities as not at all our demands as lecturers but more as our needs as intellectuals. Only then can the productivity of research in an institution increase both in quantity and quality.
