Receiving the ‘World Class Professor’ (WCP) grant from Indonesia’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology is a rare achievement. Applicants must hold a PhD, have a minimum Scopus score of 3, and demonstrate a strong publication record in Scopus-indexed journals within the last three years. They must also submit a ready-to-publish manuscript for a Scopus Q1 journal.
Prof. Dr. Hamam Hadi, MS., Sc.D., has been awarded this grant three times—in 2018, 2021, and 2023. As part of the grant, Prof. Hamam will co-author a manuscript with colleagues from Johns Hopkins University and develop a joint research proposal to secure international donor funding.
Prof. Hamam will also host Prof. Joel Gittelsohn from Johns Hopkins University at the 5th Asia-Pacific Partnership on Health and Nutrition Improvement (APHNI) Conference, organized by UAA in October 2023. The event will feature top speakers from both domestic and international institutions
