Alma Ata University (UAA) held an open senate session to graduate their students on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Pradiptha Jogja Expo Center Building, Yogyakarta. From a total of 234 graduated students, as many as 120 graduates successfully graduated with cum laude. This time the graduates came from the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Islamic Studies.
The Faculty of Health Sciences graduated students from Diploma of Midwifery, and Bachelor of Nursing and Nutrition and Nurses Professional. The Faculty of Islamic Studies has graduated students from Bachelor of Islamic Education, Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Teacher Education, Islamic Banking and Islamic Economics. The three best university graduates were achieved by Apriani Nupura (GPA 3.98) and Fauziah Nurfatimah Azzahro (3.92) from the Nutrition Department and Alina Oktafiana Natasha (GPA 3.91) from PGMI Department.
Rector of UAA, Prof. Dr. H. Hamam Hadi, MS., Sc.D., Sp.GK in his speech congratulated all graduates for the achievements resulted from their hard work and support from their parents and Alma Ata University. He advised graduates to be ready and responsive to the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 by not abandoning Islamic values and Indonesian nationality as the identity of Alma Ata.
Alma Ata was destined to be born from the ideas of Muslim scholars and therefore Alma Ata which means to be present with knowledge. In other words, everything we do should be based on knowledge, in-depth research and on a passion for developing this country. So with the knowledge you have gained while you are at Alma Ata University, “be a great and reliable player. Don’t let yourself become a spectator.” Said the Rector.
